If ride from Butterworth (mainland) to Georgetown (island) has to pay RM7.70 for cars. The rates are the same if we using first Penang Bridge. But if the Second Penang Bridge will be more expensive (probably because of the second bridge is longer than the first bridge).

We also can take a ferry to the motor or walking or cycling. The rates vary according to the category.

To catch a ferry with a car, we have to park cars in the ferry by following the instructions of the ferry staff. Please be careful for the safety of all. Parking off, pull the handbrake fully and turn off the engine.

Raya ke-4 yang lalu kami saja-saja nak naik Feri dari Butterworth ke Georgetown.

Feri ni ada dua hala saja. Sama ada:

Butterworth - Georgetown

Atau

Georgetown - Butterworth

Kalau naik dari Georgetown (pulau) ke Butterworth (tanah besar) free aje, PERCUMA tak payah bayar.

TAPI

Kalau naik dari Butterworth (tanah besar) ke Georgetown (pulau) kena bayar RM7.70 untuk kereta. Kadar bayaran ini adalah sama kalau kita naik Jambatan Pulau Pinang yang pertama. Tapi kalau Jambatan Pulau Pinang ke-dua lebih mahal (mungkin sebab jambatan ke-dua lebih panjang dari jambatan pertama).

Boleh juga naik feri dengan motor atau jalan kaki atau berbasikal. Kadar bayaran berbeza-beza mengikut kategori.

Untuk naik feri dengan kereta, kita kena parking kereta dalam feri ikut arahan pegawai feri. Silalah berhati-hati untuk keselamatan semua ye. Lepas parking, tarik handbrake sepenuhnya dan matikan enjin.
